Plant food forest Back to overview Noord Natie Odfjell Antwerp Terminal plants a food forest at Wilrijk’s Children’s Farm. This weekend, together with our colleagues and their families, we've planted a vibrant and biodiverse 5,000 m² food forest at the Children’s Farm in Wilrijk. By adding this touch of nature in the heart of an industrial area, we are turning our sustainability ambitions into reality! In collaboration with Forest Forward and in the presence of Mayor Kristof Bossuyt, more than 130 regional and native fruit and nut trees were planted on Saturday — including apple, pear, cherry, hazelnut, and walnut. These trees will not only provide Antwerp families and schools with a healthy harvest, but also contribute to a better climate, biodiversity, and a healthier living environment. This project brings Noord Natie, local schools, and the community closer together. It was a fun and educational family event. A big thank you to all the helping hands and to Forest Forward for their expert guidance. With this beautiful piece of nature, Noord Natie Odfjell Antwerp Terminal is building a sustainable future! 🎥 Watch the video: Back to overview
