Our 6 new stainless steel tanks of each 1.800 m3 are in use since June 2011.
The other new build tanks (8 x 4.100 m3) are on schedule to be used by January 2012.
NNT also leased 6 ha of adjacent terrain to the existing terminal.
We are working on a project to be developed on this terrain. The earliest completion will be end of 2013.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for any queries or questions.
Furthermore NNT will expand its capacity with 6 stainless steel tanks with each a capacity of 1.800 m3, operational by June 2011.
The 2nd expansion project exists out of 8 mild steel tanks with each a capacity of 4.100 m3.
These tanks will be operational by the year 2012.
The start up of the new build was a succes.
The 13 new stainless steel tanks are operational since
January 2010.
2nd phase is ready for construction and exists out of
6 tanks of each 1.800 m3.
Aside from these new builds NNT has leased 13.000 m2
of land also available for further expansion.
The 13 new stainless steel tanks will be operational in December / January 2010.
The 1st phase of our new build project is a fact.
On May 27th, 2009 the 6 tanks, with a capacity of 1.800 m3, were delivered to NNT with the biggest floating crane in the port of Antwerp.
During the Holiday Period all work will continue.
According to the planning the tanks will be operational December 2009.
On February 12th 2009 the first 7 tanks of 1.000 m3 were delivered.
They arrived by barge from their manufacturing site in the Port of Antwerp and were lifted to their foundation by a mobile wallcrane.
The operation went fluently and we are awaiting the arrival of the next tanks in June 2009.
Meanwhile all further construction work goes as planned.
Due to freezing temperatures, the soil has been frozen and the work on site had to be stopped for 2 weeks but this will not influence the completion by December.
The first 6 tanks of 1800 m³ are ready for delivery, on February 11 th and 12th they will be broad by barge to quay 233. A mobile crane will lift them to their place.
The arrival of the 7 tanks of 1000 m³ is still foreseen for the first half of June, they will be lifted to their location by one of the Antwerps big floating cranes.
In July the decision has been taken to start the first phase of the expansion at our existing site. The construction of 6 tanks of 1800 m³ and 7 of 1000 m³ will start September 2008.
All tanks will be stainless steel 304L and will all have dedicated product line, vapour return line and pump and are suitable for storage of a very broad variety of products.
Each tank will be connected to a berth for seagoing vessels and another one for barges. Each tank has its dedicated line to one of two truck loading stations, on which trucks and containers are loaded on weighbridge. One weighbridge is also suitable for railcar loading.
Completion of this first phase is scheduled for November 2009.
Meanwhile the second phase of the expansion, 6 tanks of 1800 m³ in mild steel, is being examined. The decision to start construction will be taken at the latest in February 2009 in order to have it completed in March 2010. For further info please fill out our contact form.
